Introducing Limited-Edition Timepieces Inspired by the Wonders of the Galápagos Islands
Casio America, Inc. is proud to unveil its latest collaboration with the Charles Darwin Foundation to launch a pair of limited-edition watches inspired by the Galápagos Islands’ dynamic ecosystem.
Casio unveils the GAB2100CD1A4 and GAB2100CD1A7 styles, that pay tribute to the iconic Marine Iguana and Galápagos Penguin are made with a shock resistant structure.
The watches features special in-dial details, one being ocean wave-inspired patterns and the other a map of the Galápagos. Both watches include a 1/100-second stopwatch, 5 daily alarms, Bluetooth connection and the watches can with with stand up to 200 meters depth of water.
The bands pattern showcases Charles Darwin Foundation’s slogan, with the loop adorned by symbols of the Galápagos Penguin or Marine Iguana. The watches are crafted with bio-based resin bands.
G-SHOCK has partnered with the Charles Darwin Foundation, an organization dedicated to the preservation of the Galápagos Islands, to raise awareness of the critical need for environmental protection.
The GAB2100CD1A4 and GAB2100CD1A7 watches are now available to buy for £149/ $170 and at selected retailers.
